Teamwork

Organize one's own work

Writers can create post-its in the editing environment in order to organize their work with sort of to-do lists.

It is also possible to bookmark chunks of content on which one plans to work or often needs.

Writers can also input notes inside the chunks of content, for themselves or their coworkers.

Create and assign reviewing tasks

A task allows one to specify the writer, the proofreader and one or more followers as well as a deadline.

Perfectly integrated into the writing environment, the tasks allow direct access to the fragment of content.

Track the activity

The search feature for tasks enables one to follow the writing activity.

Results can be exported in a spreadsheet (.csv format) that one can use to create monitoring tables.

Working environment - validated environment

Scenari enables to dissociate a work environment (for writing content) from a validated content environment.

The added, modified or deleted fragments in the work environment are identified by a specific icon, which allows to validate them (or not). Only the approved content by the publishing managers is transferred in the validated environment.

This type of architecture makes it possible, for example, to automatically send every night, to different servers, the validated content.

Proofreading via a web browser

Reviewers can annotate a document or edit the text from their web browser.

The web publication is available through a simple URL after the proofreaders are logged in and depending on their authorizations.

Annotations are automatically inserted into the content, in a comment box, mentioning the user's name and the date of the annotation.

This feature enables to involve contributors in the document processes, without prior training.

Access rights

Standard roles are configured in the application (in client-server mode): None, Reader, Author, Manager (in charge of the application updates), Contributor (to grant access to a Reader to the web reviewing feature).

The user list is set in the SCENARI application. Authentication can be granted by Scenari or by linking a LDAP directory.

Access rights – being dependent on the organization – are highly configurable using SCENARIbuilder. Their management requires a functional work identifying your organization (team members, roles, permissions and interdictions), your work processes inducing the required access authorizations.
